Biography
Taranchula is a Scandanavian death metal band featured on the HomestarRunner website in several of Strong Bad's email segments. The members of the band are Dave Bjornborg, Dave Olafstenston, and Schenkel McDoo. Their only known songs are "Moving Very Slowly" from Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits (heard briefly during the email "fingers"), "The Decoupage" (whose video is directed by Mort Dougland), which is featured in the "death metal" email during the "Half-Hour Death Metal Dungeon Hour," "Brother In A Jar" (composed for Strong Bad's would-be funeral) and "Trudgemank" (a special collaboration piece with Peacey P.) At least one of the members is voiced by Mike Chapman (Dave Olafstentson). Their logo is exceedingly reminiscent of that of Immolation.
