Biography
TOGoS first started making music in 2002 upon realizing that he could hook up his dad's CZ101 to his MIDI in port and record stuff. The first 20 tracks in the Mulker series were made using the Jazz++ MIDI sequencer and TiMidity. Since 2003 he has used Reason for most new compositions, and Audacity for occasional sample work.
TOGoS's music is is heavily softsynth-based, and makes extensive use of layered basslines, arpeggios, and repeating melodies. Most tracks could be classified somewhere between the Trance, House, and IDM genres. He notes Underworld, Nine Inch Nails, and video game music as his primary influences.
