T.R.$ aka Tha Real $carface
Born Robert M. Narbaez was born and raised in Lubbock, TX until the age of 14 when he moved to Irving with his mother after getting into trouble in school. He has always had an ear for music being that music was in his
family’s background due to his father being in different bands while he was growing up. At young age he started being involved in choir and playing a variety of musical instruments but it wasn’t till he was much older that he decided to use his music talents. In high school you could always catch him at the local party free-styling with other rappers. He then decided to pursue a career in music in 2006 writing and producing his own album. After only a couple of months of him dropping his first cd he was signed to Ledbetter Records in 2007. In 2008, he and fellow Label mate Accomplice started their own label Money First Entertainment. In 2009 he was signed to Dj Smallz label, Fear Factor Music as a producer. Between 2010-13, T.R.S has opened up for big names such as Kirko Bangz, Z-ro, Devin tha Dude, Twista, Bun B & Slim Thug. In 2013, T.R.S has caught allot of attention with his single Dreamgirl featuring label mate Sertified Music. In between 2007 to date he has dropped 9 mixtapes and has built a buzz state wide and continues to surge forward as one of Dallas' up and coming artist in 2013!
