The full title of this album is Computer Experiments, Volume 1 (there was never a Volume 2). It consists entirely of songs composed using the auto-composing software program "Pink Tunes", written by PAiA's John Simonton. Larry Fast generated the melodies running the software on a KIM-1 microcomputer. Originally, the vinyl version was available only through mail order; one had to purchase a copy of the Audion album to get a copy of the flyer to mail in.
Musically, it is completely different from any other Synergy material, consisting entirely of the very abstract melodies generated by Pink Tunes. It was highly experimental in 1980 and remains so today; as such, it may be a tough listen for many listeners.
