There are several acts named Swerve:
1. Swerve are an alternative rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. Combining infectious riffs and harmonies that touch the sky, their catchy and left of centre music flows straight to the heart.
The story of the band stretches across the globe. Having developed an extensive array of beats in India, Vivek relocated to Melbourne in 2010. Meanwhile, Rossa reached Australian shores having soaked up each riff from just about every pub on his home hills of Ireland. After scouring through online classifieds, a subsequent jam resulted in an instant connection between the two. Recruiting the mouth from the south came naturally as Rients wove wonders through each and every idea they threw at him. In 2011 the line up was complete as Braiden burst in from Ballarat on the bass and blew them all away. Swerve was born - Pushing away from sterile sounds and lunging toward a more organic and holistically tangible future in popular music.

2. Swerve is a Los Angeles rock band whose music is inspired by nearly every era of rock history to create a unique sound that could only exist in the present moment. Taking their cues from punk, psychedelia, British Invasion guitar pop and modern indie, they craft songs that immediately grab your attention with larger than life choruses and unforgettable hooks.

Swerve is a four piece, synthpop act fronted by female singer Jaclyn Blankenship, whose voice and persona counter balance the electronic stylings of Jorge Espino and Elvis Sánchez and the percussive, acoustic nature of Jason McGinnis. Strong song writing, melody and rhythm are the foundation to crisp electronic sounds. Formed in 2003, Swerve emerges from a late twentieth century soundscape into the twenty-first with a clear, precise sense of musical vision and performance. With roots in the synth-pop sounds of the eighties and post-punk undertones, Swerve create a melodious electro-pop, infused with a touch of downtempo, drum & bass, and progressive trance.
This mix of the organic and the electronic is best evidenced and brought to life with stirring live performances consisting of occasional guest musicians and a choreographed show of lights and images. Swerve serves a perfect future-pop, a delightful blending of technology with soul. The collectively produced independent album ‘Unmask the Sound’ is that perfect synthesis of the “man-machine”. From the desert of El Paso, Texas, a flower emerges called Swerve.
