Based on BBC Radio's 1967 comedy show "Just A minute", "På Minuten" premiered on Swedish Radio in 1969 hosted by Herbert Söderström.
The show was cancelled in 1988, but was revived in 1994 under the name "60 Sekunder", but was renamed back to its original "På Minuten" title in 1995 when Ingvar Storm became the show's new host, which he remained as until 2018 when long time panel member Hans Rosenfeldt took over as host.
