SUZERAIN – are a London based 5 piece alternative rock band with a punk edge that’s not afraid to look a synthesiser in the eye.
They’ve played across London gathering fans with their catchy addictive infused 21st century rock and managed to get themselves some very good gigs along the way – Wireless Festival (Hyde Park), Scala, London Astoria 2, 100 Club, The Clothes Show Live and picking up an award along the way (Indy Award for Best UK Alternative Act)
The band recorded and released a well received debut EP: Apocalypse Disco, and have recently completed work on their first LP “Midnight in the Drawn City” due for release this year (produced by Steve Lyon - Depeche Mode, The Cure).
2009 saw SUZERAIN added to the bill for Pride and played to a packed Trafalgar Square with numbers estimated at well over 100,000 people.
Having established themselves as ones to watch on the London circuit the band are also making excellent headway in Europe and across the World - gathering more fans and achieving industry interest after a string of high profile dates including: NRJ in the Park in Munich with Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party, Reaperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Angra Rock Festival in the Azores, Roma Rocks in Rome, and Boccadilo in Sicily. Altogether they played to over 20,000 people on this brief tour. This band were made for big stages…
Attracting interest from various corners across Europe SUZERAIN are set to provide the sound track to the highs and lows of the 21st century
