Biography
Susana Cofré was born in 1983, just days before spring began, in Temuco (Región de La Araucanía, Chile). Since an early age, she was surrounded by the music that her parents listened to and sang and she always knew that singing would be her favorite cathartic exercise. When Susana learned to write, she discovered poetry, but she took several years to fuse her love for music and her passion for lyrics in her own compositions. Before that, her teens was marked by bands like Oasis and Kula Shaker, whose have the merit to show her that Rock Music had a past… and what a past! That’s the way she first met The Beatles and her life changed. She used a big part of her energies to learn guitar and study about universal popular music, different musical styles and their impact on History.
Inevitable as time, she was influenced by Violeta Parra and Victor Jara, her compatriots, with whom she discovered a force in common. Thanks to that, she decided to take the path of her own musical carreer, still in its beginnings.
Currently, Susana is working on the composition of what could be her first LP.
