Biography
SuperFunHappyBand started out in 2006 with a group of high-school friends, consisting of Mark Gage (vocals, lead guitar, keyboard), Nathaniel Morse (guitar), Tim Fenby (drums) and Ben Turville (bass guitar). After Ben left the band, Elly Bruin would go onto replace him playing bass guitar and occasionally keyboard. Sam Nelson would later on join the group playing keyboard and occasionally bass guitar.
SuperFunHappyBand played many gigs throughout Melbourne at such venues as Roxanne Parlour, Eurotrash, Northcote Social Club, The Espy, Miss Libertine's and more. They were also fortunate enough to win the Triple J Unearthed competition which meant they would play at Falls Festival of '07-'08.
Later on Elly and Sam would leave the band due to university commitments. That was when the band became known as SFHB!
Eventually SFHB! broke up in 2008. Mark and Tim went on to create My Musical Collective. Nathaniel is now a member of the highly successful Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!
