Some may think Suffocation isn't Suffocation without Frank Mullen. I will say that Rick Myers (the new permanent vocalist of the band) is really good and the best replacement. I hope they release another album with Rick Myers.

fun new album! but i'm slightly distracted by the engineering, specifically the drums. The snare sound especially is a little intrusive. It needs a warmer, rounder sound.

A little bit disappointed by the new track... Not a lot that caught my ears, and way too clicky drums for me. And that Photoshop discount Dan Seagrave lookalike is really meh, too. Hoping the rest of the album will surprise me so it won't be 6 years of waiting for a dud.

as of today, I have a 17-year "lastfm" subscription. the band I've listened to the most in these 17 years is "suffocation" with 14,207 socroppings. my most listened to is "suffocation" album; "Effigy of the Forgotten" with 2,782 socroppings. I don't get tired of listening to this band. It is of such quality that I discover new things in "suffocation" music over the years. I will love this band to death. I'm the world's biggest "suffocation" fan. Your life has become more beautiful with the information I have given you. I know.

Saw them twice in AZ both with Mullen, and I just remember nearly dying of getting overheated from being in the pit during I think Infecting the Crypt. Must've been like 100 degrees in Club Red. I need to catch them with the new vocalist.

Suffocation kicks ass! Saw them live only once and it wasn't with Frank Mullen. However, they were still good live without him!

The whole band is always willing to speak to the fans about music and the show. Terrance is a very down to earth guy

Human Waste is my favorite out of all their releases. To me, it's the ultimate death metal EP. The self-titled album is my favorite full-length album overall. Effigy of the Forgotten is my favorite older album. Pierced from Within is probably my 2nd favorite. My least favorite album has to be ...of the Dark Light.
