Biography

Following some frenzied tours with Kaïn, Steve Veilleux gave himself time for some introspection. Unable to sit still between two albums, the band’s principal lyricist/composer left his comfort zones. Already well experienced by the time he was in his early thirties, he took the opportunity to go even further rather than stand still, leaving the beaten path with a solo album that touches on his most intimate memories. A turning point. He took off his blinkers, broke the mould and experimented for an album. He came up with Les souvenirs qui ne meurent jamais, to which he now listens with a sigh of relief.
