Staying at Home were an Australian post-hardcore/melodic punk band from Sydney, New South Wales. The band began in 2001 with Adam R. Lees (Oh Messy Life, Lungs & Lightweights) on vocals and guitar, Karen Tran (The Riot and the Trauma) on bass and Nick Van Breda on drums and vocals. The band released many EPs LPs and splits including; These Moments Minutes EP (2002), Split EP with Seconds Away (2002), Split 7" with The Stockholm Syndrome (2003), Reaction Heroes LP (2004), Never Take Me Alive EP (2005), Boundless LP (2006).
Staying at home (SAH) were described as "Like Hey Mercedes crossed with Fugazi" by Blunt Magazine, which pleased them as the two bands mentioned, SAH were heavily influenced by.
The band broke up in 2006.
