Static Function is one of the most interesting names on the lips of Dubstep fans right now, with a powerful array of club smashers already under his belt.
Hailing from Brighton, UK, Static Function started his Dubstep journey after being exposed to the scene via his friends and his brother. As a drummer in a rock band, electronic music was a real eye-opener and offered an interesting arena to indulge his passion for music. He started DJing and became popular with sets at some of the biggest raves in and around Brighton.
Buying more and more records it soon became clear to him that some tunes seemed to work better on the Dancefloor than others. This sparked an interest in the production side of things and he started picking up equipment down in the local music shops that would assist him in the creation his tracks. Creating something that people could enjoy on the dancefloor was the pay off.
