Biography
Stark D is the music project of Brazilian-born DJ and producer Diego Paulo Jacintho. Based in England, Stark D blends house, techno, and live instrumentation to craft a distinctive and innovative sound that has captivated audiences worldwide.
Stark D began his journey in São Paulo in 1998, DJing at house parties and underground venues before transitioning to music production. His 2nd album, Super Asymmetry (2019), received critical acclaim for its intricate melodies and dynamic rhythms, solidifying his reputation in the electronic music scene.
In 2013, Stark D co-founded the award-winning Vintage Music Label, dedicated to releasing high-quality music and fostering new talent. Over the years, he has collaborated with and remixed tracks for renowned artists like Sailor & I, Kilany M, Phonique, and Ten Walls, further cementing his position as a prominent figure in the industry.
