Sreejit discovered music early in his life with Michael Jackson and Diana Ross getting heavy rotation in his youth. In his teen years he progressed to Prince, and Metallica, and settled on the guitar after experimenting with saxophone and piano. After meeting Amma his music practice took a turn towards Indian bhajans. Later in life he began melding his worlds, bringing Indian Spirituality lyrically into Americana/ Roots music. Sreejit approaches folk music with a punk, just let it out, aggression.
