Musicians must be heard! Not all must be seen. Undoubtedly this does not apply to Splinter x, much more than just a band - an acoustic and visual happening. Dynamic and matchless these five Berliners, with Ben Ivory as lead singer, are the epitomy of role models of a new music generation. Drifting stylistically between Rock and Electro, the band proves to be timeless. Rough and dark, glamorous and sexy, or perhaps as best put in their own words; "love stoned and drug fucked", they enchant their listeners with danceable beats and memorable melodies. Their debut "The Sound of Revelation", out in the summer of 2007, marked an unstoppable rise in success. Turning Splinter X from 'No-name' to promising newcomer. Stardesigner Kilian Kerner gives his "favourite band" a chance to make a mark and perform at his catwalks and the press hales Splinter x as hope for the German music market. Successfully beating 3000 competitors in the world's biggest band contest, the Canadian Bodog Battle, and winning the German finals, 2008 starts well for Splinter X. The previously unsigned band convinced also with an amazing live performance at Eurocup festival at Brandenburger gate in Berlin this year. Additionally Splinter X is now working at their second studio album.
