Biography
Sparrows and Crows is the moniker of singer/songwriter Eric Toribio, who was born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania in 1987. He grew up in Goodville, Pennsylvania. His father, Glen, plays classical piano and his mother, Ruth, used to play acoustic guitar. Eric taught himself how to play guitar when he was 13. His favorite band is Weezer, and specifically Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo. Other influences include Dashboard Confessional, Sufjan Stevens, Bright Eyes, Death Cab For Cutie, Jack Johnson, The Mountain Goats, The Decemberists, Paramore, B.o.B., Relient K, Mae, and Jimmy Eat World.
Eric performs and records all instruments on every song by himself. However, a friend of his will be playing electric guitar for tracks on the upcoming Sparrows and Crows album "Something I Realized, As If In A Dream".
