it happened in room H409 on 4th West, ( riding on the high vibrations of brian wilson, )
4 young go getters were hit in the face with space
and it came to them::
boy band!
THere's
Dugan, the cute one
GB, the bad boy
James, the shy one
Rian, the hearthrob
But Lou Pearlman was in jail! so they said fuck it
" we'll choreograph are own damn dances " quipped Dugan
and in one night, ONE NIGHT
they played,
recorded,
edited,
mastered,
redubbed,
and released their first album- " 'The Third of July'" (all while totally cone toastered !
on the recording you might hear the band's one time frontwoman and manager Helene
laying down some hot rhymez bout gettin frikky in the showa
and thats how we became

as the band's popularity grew, Helene grew impatient with the artistic direction the boys were taking
she quit almost immediately after the first album dropped
over fears that the band's commercialism and mainstream appeal would soon drive the once close friends desperately desperately apart

Faced with growing popularity the band continued playing in private rooms to limited crowds, putting out albums near monthly,
Space Faces scored their first venue in September of 2007 after getting referred to a friend about a friend who was playing a show at a nearby dumpster called 41West
"That place was pretty gross, but, haha, that was so long ago…. " remarked GB
Despite the complete failure of the show, the band managed to write their first song, the biblically named : 'The Sheet'
Their first single was a massive success among the band members who even made the effort to play the song more than once
The band played their first show open to the public in December of 07
at MIT's Little Kresge theatre
by changing their reportoire entirely, practicing songs the day before, and getting the disgustingly talented Johnson/Fleder SubTrio to play at the show
they shocked friends and critics alike by playing quote "something good"
"it was that day that it snowed like a billion feet of snow, but i'm pretty sure we blew some minds out of their sockets there" James remembered
4 consecutive shows playing in the pit of an off- Broadway show helped gain more notoriety in the local art community
Once into 2008, Space Faces increased their power electronics, battery battalion, and volumetric potential
vastly rederfining their soundscapes
each face found their space and their phase state
tensions rian high
durg addrictions causticly ate awhey FACEs
but the unirverse prevailed
energies beyond anything ever imagined propelled the group into infinidudes
unbeknowsnt to space faces, mike haimes had made himself afixture of the elctronic space faces travellling in a parllel dimenseon
these spaces phased to into one face of space ripping into worlds of audiodigoviisual sectors
deaffull success was secured after mainds were blawned at basement shows, the innerdnational noyze confederacy, and the coveted first act at steer roast
spayd fadesez had grown into nightmarish monsters of sound
they were immmeediately signed to the local unknown, world renown label vaccuuum noise records out of new york
moneyz and musike fell outt the sky

Following dreams of grandeur and solo projects on the west coast
Rian and MIKe phased out as well
Space Faces was in turdmoil
fans debited them as the biggest band on the face of the universal space, but they were falling apart on the insides

and a dude pulled up next to me in central,
got out of his car, looked at it, screamed like a banshee, bit my hair, ripped it off and burned it in front of me
then rolled around naked in the ashes gibbering "
