Biography
Sneaki was originally formed in 1998 in Bridgeport, WV as Kindjal - "just a couple guys screwing around with sounds and samples for fun." Steve went solo in 1999 as DJ Steav, and later DJ Sneaki in 2000. The "DJ" prefix was dropped in 2003.
All tracks are produced by PC. Over the years a variety of sampling software and sequencers have been used, the most notable being Beat2000, Acid, CoolEdit 2000, and Fruity Loops. In the early days it was all done with a metronome and synth, with guitar samples by Mike Dean during the Kindjal sessions.
