Think, their first album "Do It Dog Style" is one of the best punk albums of 70's. Agree with [johnnyusername] > SatD really are the most underated band in the history of UK punk.

Author Stewart Home ranks Slaughter & the Dogs as archetypal punk rock. I myself never understood the Oi! tag; but like the author of the band's bio page hints: their best-known song was "Where Have All the Bootboys Gone?" and they developed a skinhead audience -- so there you have it.

Put quite simply Slaughter and the Dogs are the most underated band in the history of UK punk. As influential as the Pistols and as R'n'R as Johnny Thunders. Unfuckinbelievable.......................................
