Skik is a Dutch popgroup, originating from the Dutch village Erica, Netherlands in the region of Drenthe. The word Skik is from the Drents dialect and means 'fun'.
Skik consists of leader Daniël Lohues (vocals, guitar, piano and harmonica). The other band members are Marco Geerdink (guitar), Maarten van der Helm (vocals and bass guitar) and Marlen Davers (drums). The band sings mainly in the Drents dialect, a variety of the Nether Saxon language.
Skik made their debut in 1994 during the region language-festival Muzem. The band scored some hits later: "Op Fietse" and "Hoe kan dat nou?" They released their last album in 2004.
