Biography

There are several artists that go by the name Sim:

1) SiM are a Japanese reggae-punk band from Shonan, Kanagawa Prefecture, featuring vocalist MAH, guitarist SHOW-HATE, bassist SIN, and drummer GODRi. The band initially formed as Silence iz Mine and featured bassist KAH and drummer WAY, with MAH also being the guitarist. In 2006, SHOW-HATE took on guitars, KAH left the band and BUN took on bass until 2008, the same year the band released their self-titled debut record. WAY left shortly after the release, with GODRi taking over drums and SIN joining as the bassist.

In 2010, the band released the single ANTHEM under Tower Records and began touring, though they quickly cancelled the tour after SHOW-HATE collapsed form a cerebral infraction, with ONO-SHiT taking over guitars while SHOW-HATE recovered. The band released their first mini album, LIVING IN PAiN, on October 6, 2010, their second full length, Seeds of Hope, on October 12, 2011, and their second mini album, LiFE and DEATH, on May 12, 2012.

On April 3, 2013, the band releaed their major debut single, Evils, under Universal Music Japan, with their third album, Pandora, releasing on October 23 the same year. They also released i Against i, their third mini album in September 2014. On October 6 of the same year, their single Existence was used as the opening theme for Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis, and they released another single titled Crows. Both singles charted on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.

The band released their fourth album, The Beautiful People, on April 6, 2016, and on September 25, played their first show in the US as apart of the Ozzfest meets Knotfest festival. On April 7, 2017, their single, Let It End, was used as the opening theme for Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul and A / The Sound Of Breath, released on December 6, 2017, was used as apart of the Yakuza Kiwami 2 soundtrack. The band also released Diamond on November 20, 2018 and Lion's Den on December 12, 2018, with the latter being used as the opening song for Japan's Wrestle Kingdom 13.

On November 3, 2019, the single Sand Castle featuring Akkogorilla was released, and their fifth album, Thank God, There Are Hundreds of Ways to Kill Enemies was announced to be released on April 15, 2010, though this was postponed to June 17, 2020. BULLY, Baseball Bat, Devil in Your Heart, and CAPTAiN HOOK were released as singles for the album.

The Rumbling, which was used as the opening for Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2, was released on February 7, 2022, and launched the band to international stardom, topping the US Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. The band would also move to the Pony Canyon label with the release of the single. On September 21, the band released the EP Beware, which featured The Rumbling. Another single, Under the Tree, was used as the ending theme for Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3, and the bands sixth full length, Playdead, was released on September 27, 2023.

CHAMPiONS, which was used as the theme song for Year 4 of ALGS, was released on February 29, 2025. On April 1, 2026, the band released the first single for their upcoming sixth album, HOOMAN AFTER ALL, titled FiVE TiMES DEAD (by my wallet), followed by BLiNDEYES, featuring HANABIE, on May 22, 2026. HOOMAN AFTER ALL is expected to release on September 2, 2026.

2) Sim is a japanese abstract/experimental electronic rock act.
3) Sim (Simon Jacques Eugène Berryer) was a French humorist, writer and comedian.
4) Sim was a punk band from Finland.
5) Sim lives in Skaistgirys. The school was a DJ. One of the three members of the group “Lostra Crew”.
6) Sim (Siimo Raba) comes from Estonia although for the past 6 years he's been based in London, where he splits his time between working for Juno Records, writing jacking house music plus helping out behind the scenes at the HQs of UK record labels Autoreply, Ornate & Stuga Musik.
7) Sim, also typographied as ssiimm is an electronic and experimental producer from the United States. They came in the music production in september 2016 with the remix of Hyperloop by Voia; they were named Laidux at this time. They had released the album _THEMARCHER in february 2018, which was portrayed in a simpsonwave aesthetic video by Aseckas few days later.
