Sidi Bou Said were a London-based indie band formed in the early 1990s, consisting of Claire Lemmon (guitar & lead vocal), Mel Woods (drums & backing vocal) and Gayl Harrison (bass); and named after a town in Tunisia. Their
indie-rock sound was combined with a wide variety of influences from
folk to
progressive rock and the odd touch of
