Biography
In 1969, a band by the name of Sideways Hank O'Malley and The Alabama Bottle Boys played a gig on TV, performing the song "The Ballad of Chapped Lip Calquhoun", which was seen by an employee in the American office Bouldar for the Grand Theft Auto (1) team. The Bouldar had been given the task of finding a suitable band for a song to be played in a stolen flatbed within the game. The office tracked down Drew Larg, the vocalist of the band, who was still playing in a band called The Buzzards. After some persuasion, he agreed to reform the old band, albeit in America, across the ocean from Scotland, where he was currently residing. Bouldar recorded the other members of the band in America, and later dubbed Drew's vocals in Dundee.
