Field recordings, synth drones, softly softly vocals and simple beats combine to create Shoogie's unique signature style. Influenced by years of London clubbing to trance, techno, drum n bass, reggae and dubstep, Shoogie's sound reminds you of wandering over to the chill-out tent at a summer festival somewhere in England at 4 in the morning with a sunrise looming in the distance…….. A long time improviser working with Sleepy Eye in Japan and Thunderbolt in London, Shoogie Dong is now based in NYC and can sometimes be found playing flute with Beacon based improv group, Joyful Sonic Wash.
