Damn right this is underrated. When it came out it was met with indifference, disappointment and even scorn from some, but this as I've gotten older and revisited Shellac's earlier stuff whenever they've put out a new record or just when the mood's struck me, Terraform is the one that has consistently grown in my estimation more and more, to the point where I think I would now agree that not only is it misunderstood, overlooked and underrated, but it's their best album. We Deserve a Look at You the Way You Really Are," "House Full of Garbage" -- the latter being kinda like "Math Sludge," if you can imagine such a thing. Fucking great track). To me this showcases three master musicians who are in complete control of their craft and who have no trouble coming up with great riffs, bass lines and drum patterns, plenty of hooks of every variety and much more diversity than was present on (the great) At Action Park. A masterpiece.
