Biography
Shawn grew up in Ashland, Oregon where he began his musical journey playing the saxophone at age 11. During his time at Berklee College of Music in Boston, he began playing guitar and piano, and found a love of songwriting and a yearning to share his music and make a positive impact in the lives of others. After graduating with a degree in Music Therapy, Shawn moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, bringing music and meaning to the lives of people living with Alzheimer's Disease. Throughout his various musical incarnations Shawn has found himself in awe of the transformative power of music and the potential of the human spirit. Shawn's music weaves a sonic tapestry with its roots in jam-based rock, world music, blues and R&B.
