Shanti People is a Kyiv based World music band performing Vedic mantras with the support of groovy electronics. Ethnic instruments such as tanpura, mridanga, tabla, karatals, harmonium
on one hand, flute and bass guitar on the other along with visual projections create proper atmosphere during their shows. Musicians impress the audience with an unusual mantras interpretation and musical skills. Vocalist and percussionists have been trained professionally in India.Their goal is to popularise mantras both as musical phenomenon and the way of spiritual
practice. A fusion of ancient mantras and contemporary sound does attract lots of very different people to their shows all over the globe.
Shanti People projects also include mantra-jams, vocal and percussion workshops, Vedic parties.
The band performed on hundreds of festivals, toured Western Europe, Ukraine and all over Russia where they gain high level of popularity.
