Biography
Born in Ottawa, and raised in Vancouver, Sean Hayden was obsessed with all types of music from an early age: rock, hip-hop, jazz, funk, blues, etc. He discovered jazz as a teenager via artists like Pat Metheny, Soulive, & Jamie Cullum, while continuing to show a strong interest in all genres of music.
In 2007, Sean Hayden received a scholarship to participate as a full-time student at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Once he was relocated to 'Beantown', Sean worked and studied with some of the best that the music industry had to offer and by summer 2008, he had re-defined the parameters of his music. The once self-proclaimed jazz-cat had suddenly started writing on the pop side of things - dishing out tunes that reflected more the styling of Dave Matthews Band & John Mayer, than his jazz counterparts.
Then in May 2009, Sean released his self-titled debut album, featuring 7 tracks + 1 bonus track. To date, he touring and said to be working on more upcoming music.
