Biography
Sara Masterson is a Chicago singer/songwriter. Her earthy vocals combined with evocative folk rock songwriting have made her a quickly emerging artist in Chicago’s independent scene. Sara’s artistry is compelling, and she gives us something unique, which is an amazing live performance. Listeners are intrigued by her confessional songwriting, truly beautiful vocals and moving stage presence.
Sara recently released a five song EP: Hale Street Sessions. She recently stepped out with a talented band of musicians, rounding out her well-crafted songs to true indie rock, with added musical depth, energy and even a dash of 80s synth pop magic. Sara Masterson's band has been described as a cross between Natalie Merchant & Coldplay.
