Sandeep Khare (संदीप खरे) (born May 13) is a distinguished Marathi poet, songwriter and singer best known for his albums Diwas ase ki (दिवस असे कि) and Ayushyawar Bolu Kahi (आयुष्यावर बोलू काही). He has published many song albums along with Salil Kulkarni and also poetry books on his own. The Sandeep-Saleel duo shot to fame for their Ayushyawar Bolu Kahi live stage shows which continue to be sold out at every venue.
Sandeep Khare holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Sandeep was awarded the Punya Gaurav Puraskar on 12th March 2007 for his contribution towards the arts and culture. He has received numerous other awards like "Pune ki aasha". He got The Zee Gaurav Award on 17 feb 2008.
Sandeep has collaborated with a number of singers and composers to bring out multiple albums. His teaming up with Salil Kulkarni has been the most successful commercially earning them both fame and fortune. His earlier albums only appealed to a niche of the market while later ones have expanded to have an appeal to more people.
