Biography
SPEED-D, a japanese band lead by frontman Johnny Python, blends immature humor and "hard shock baka rock" in a play on America's macho tendencies. Currently in their third and largest incarnation, SPEED-D Episode3 特攻野郎 D-TEAM, sports American army camo and mock weapons as well as their usual aviator sunglasses and drawn-on facial hair. The band usually makes their entrance from the back of the crowd, emulating how a soldier might sneak across a combat zone, with the frontman last, making the biggest commotion. Johnny Python, along with Megumu Albert (the young "idol" of the band), also often enters the audience to harass unsuspecting patrons at the end of their set.
