Biography
SONAMOO (Hangul: 소나무) was a seven-member South Korean girl group under TS Entertainment. The group consisted of Sumin, Minjae, D.ana Nahyun, Euijin, High.D and Newsun.
The group officially debuted with the release of their debut single Deja Vu on December 29th, 2014 and held their debut showcase performance the same day. The album hit the number one spot on Gaon's weekly Album Chart. On February 25, 2015, they began promoting another song from the album, "Just Go".
On September 15, 2020, Nahyun and Sumin have won the first trial of their lawsuit against TS Ent., and their contracts with the agency have been terminated.
In January 2021, SONAMOO's agency, TS Entertainment, privately shut down and deleted its website. Although an official announcement regarding the disbandment hasn't been made it's assumed the group silently disbanded in September 2021.
