Biography
Run With Wolves began life in 1995 as The Legend of the Sleeping River with the lineup of: Gianpaolo Caprino - Guitars, Keyboards. Francesco Originario - Bass. Yorga (Aborym) - Vocals and Tatiana Ronchetti - Vocals.
Under this name they released three albums. 'The First Moon (1996)' featured doom and black metal with 80's darkwave influences whilst their second, 'A Mirror to the Rising Sun (1998)' was more technical and with more of a metal feel and saw Massimiliano Pagliuso taking over the male vocals whilst Sandro Manicone took on the keyboards and Christian Ice the drum programming.
The band then slimmed down to its definitive two piece formation of Gianpaolo Caprino and Tatiana Ronchetti with the release of 'Run With Wolves (2000)' with Gianpaolo taking the band in a gothic metal direct with greater influence of 80's pop and his growling is alternated with the female vocals of Tatiana.
The band adopted the name of Run With Wolves in 2001 and released the four song title 'Movie' that shows electronic and electropop influences whilst the gloomy male vocals and female choirs made the band move closer to a more gothic, rather than metal, sound. They have recently been working on a new album entitled 'Lab_981.04'.
