Biography
After looking at the piano keys for 5 seconds and figuring out how to improvise a few chords, a young Nathan Horowitz started making music, and after a while that turned into what is now Ruler of Program. Taking inspiration from sources like The Beatles, Marc Rebillet, and Bill Wurtz, the instrumental tracks put a spotlight on anything but the speaker, letting the melody take its place. (That might be changing, though, we're not sure.) Nathan uses a BOSS RC-505 Loop Station, and M-Audio-Keystation 61 MK3, and a laptop running various DAWs to create all sorts of tracks. While it's not all "programming" as the name implies, working with electronic instruments certainly reenforces the name. In conclusion, it's raw indie music made by just another small-time producer sitting in his room.
