Robert Lindsay (born 13 December 1949, Ilkeston, Derbyshire) is an English actor who is best known for his Tony and Olivier Award winning role as Bill Snibson in the musical Me and My Girl, and for his television work, especially his roles in Citizen Smith, My Family, and Hornblower.
