Biography
Robert Boogert (1988) grew up near amsterdam, the netherlands. He started playing guitar at highschool and developed a broad knowledge of musical theory in a short matter of time. He now plays mostly jazz, but his interests are unlimited. Listening to hiphop, he became more and more interested in the making of beats, producing. At first he would rap on the beats he had made, nowadays he is focused on the 'dancability' a beat can have.
The house music Robert Boogert creates, is to be described as a mix of electro, pop, and funk, all woven together with jazz as the knitting needle.
Because of this intense mix, a powerful, sometimes adventure-like, track exists, which will not only let your feet suddenly have a life of their own, but will take your mind off the dancefloor for a while.
