Biography
Matt Wallace, Anne Stringer and Rick Stringer comprise the Variant Frequencies team.
Variant Frequencies is a Parsec Award winning monthly podcast of original fiction. The program presents stories blending gothic horror with space adventure, dark fantasy with sci-fi, recalling the reality-bending vibes of The Twilight Zone, and offering something wholly unique that fits inbetween and outside. The podcasts are fully produced, including talented voice actors and original music scores.
In February 2006, Variant Freqencies released the first episodes of "The Failed Cities Monologues" by Matt Wallace which continued through March 2007. The story of the Failed Cities is told from the shifting perspectives of eight characters: Ethan, the street preacher. The Feral Twins, death for hire. Truck, the neo-hipster knifesmith. Sterne, the pit fighting pulp writer. d'Anger, the femme fatale. Constable Klimenko, the reluctant detective. The Maven, back alley mediator. The complete twenty-six episode story became available at Podiobooks.com in November 2006.
