1. Revelatio is an alternative pop band that formed in Wells, Maine, United States 2004. It was lead by multi-instrumentalist & songwriter bandmember from 2004 to 2010 BigBee of the Whitetree. The project came about from an out of body experience that BigBee experienced in route to Jamaica. The first album released was titled Roaming the Wilderness (2006). It is a blend of electronic and acoustic elements. All instruments and parts were played by BigBee.
In 2007 BigBee embarked on a long recording adventure for his follow up release titled Finding the Now. He lived in a Geodesic Dome in the middle of Joshua Tree National Park recording music under extreme conditions. After 25 days of round the clock work the engineer for the project quit due to unworkable & hazardous conditions. This left BigBee alone in the desert to complete the project. After finding a new musical direction he decided to travel throughout the west living out of his van with his wife and 2 small children. All the while writing and recording. In January of 2008 he released the 2 disk conceptual album Finding the Now.
After a year of playing small shows throughout the United States BigBee moved to a remote island in the Pacific Northwest. It was hear that he recorded what was to be Revelatio’s final studio album. It was a dark and electronic album with an eclectic inclusion of reggae style baselines. "The Silhouette of Twilight" was released in January of 2010. No touring was done on this album and in May of 2010 BigBee disbanded Revelatio to pursue music less modern in it’s approach.
