Biography
Refuse to Fall began in 1992 as another contributor to the early-'90s straight-edge movement from their unlikely hometown of Houston, TX. With their mature front of melodic hardcore, Equal Vision Records released their first 7", entitled Soulfire, in 1993, before an East-Coast tour with Shelter and 108 followed in support of it. Abruptly breaking up after returning home, Drive Records put out the 7" Stalemate Sessions in 1994 – almost a year after calling it quits. Even though the 1996 release of their album, Grey, hinted at a Refuse to Fall comeback, former members focused on their other bands, Blueprint and In Echos.
