The Scotland Various Artists is a twenty-track compilation album featuring new and notable producers from within Scotland’s fast-exploding Drum & Bass scene.
From unsigned producers to recent Beatport & Juno Download genre chart-toppers, the album ticks many boxes for young and old heads within the scene and features dancefloor-friendly dnb rollers from @Refracta, @Torsosound & @Spookglasgow; a big-hitting production Vertigo from @DjPhinnegan & @Louwhoscotland; UKG, Baile Funk and Half-time tracks from @Wndwsun, @NovaCheq, and @OHARE_dnb; and a Liquid Drum & Bass track from @subspaceofficialdnb plus some big underground productions from @masterofbassline, @tonyjungle, @Dark-Ali, @DjAesthetics, @Phonikdnb, and @ZDSmusic for the discerning listeners.
Receiving early support from all over Scotland (and from DJs across the rest of the world too!) we've recently made it onto the air-waves with @Mastaki_UK & @Idylist’s 'Fatboi' selected as BBC Introducing’s Track of the Week on Phoebe IH & Shereen Cutkelvin's Radio Scotland show alongside @Phonikdnb’s Lake Laogai; @Wndwsun’s 'She Got Tired of Waiting' featured on legendary Scottish broadcaster Jim Gellatly’s playlist on Amazing Radio, not to mention repeated plays on Bloc2Bloc, DnB Radio, and DJ streams through the lockdown.
The album is available to order via our Bandcamp and will be in all major stores worldwide from Wednesday 23rd December.
The album has been expertly mastered by Glasgow’s Phonik, with artwork and visuals created by mrtnstudio in Edinburgh.
