Biography
Realness is an Austin, Texas-based DJ and producer who has been producing and mixing dance music since 2006. His most recent productions include synth pop/electro act MVSCLZ and cyber bass/electro act DYX, as well as an official remix for rapper Juiceboxxx.
Born and raised in Brooklyn in the early 1980s, Realness is always on a rabid pursuit of the freshest sounds from around the world, from classic 70s/80s disco to modern bass-soaked electro and house. His bold and unconventionally engaging DJ sets seamlessly blend the old and new to spark the fiercest dance party atmosphere in any human environment.
Realness has shared stages with acts such as Dan Deacon, Lady Miss Kier (Deee-lite), Drop the Lime, DJ Klever and Craze, and YACHT. He has also made appearances at SXSW Music Festival in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
