Rajaa's first single Istaghrabt (Hal El Dounya), released a few months after her victory, was a huge hit and made her known to even those who had not watched X Factor.

All of the album's songs were arranged by Egyptian arranger Adel Aayesh, and were recorded in Turkey and Egypt. Hal El Dounya was extremely successful for a debut, and she succeeded in the Egyptian market in a way that surpassed her label's expectations. She even received a celebratory phone call from Laila Ghofran, a fellow Moroccan signed with Rotana. Rajaa, who was relatively well-known before in her home country before X Factor, was criticized by the Moroccan press for singing only in the Egyptian and Moroccan dialects on her album.
