Love this album but when I listened it today I had this thought about it being seen as a product of its time in some years

Not a single bad or filler track (most are bops), is perfectly paced & varied, hits hard emotionally in all fields right places, and still sounds fantastic after years of excessively playing it. Damn, I love this album.

Only downside is that there are only 10 songs. Also Keep Your Eyes Peeled and Kalopsia are kinda meh.

I hadn't realized it till very recently, very mature Queens. Back then I thought it kinda boring. Still think Homme has some composition issues though, he gets great then boring pop rock all of a sudden

To me this album is perfect. Every song fits the album alot and its little more slow than other albums by this band.

The best QOTSA album, apex of Josh as a songwriter. A pure and truly master piece. One of those hard to find out there.

Looking back at the decade, this was definitely my favourite rock album of the 2010's :)

I hate saying it, but I wish they ended here. It just feels like a finale of an album, and Villains upbeatness is so off putting to coming after this. Plus, it definitely feels like Josh's magnum opus.

I completely agree, As much as I like some songs on Villains (mainly Un-Reborn and Evil As Landed) it can't compete with this masterpiece!

Yep, I would agree. Unfortunately my life was really getting fucked up at the time this came out and I was listening to it many times a week, so it takes me back to a very bad time in my life when I listen to it, but I can still recognize it for the masterpiece that it is. Rated R has always been my favorite, but ...Like Clockwork has supplanted it as the best in my view. Impeccable songwriting, performances and production.

GOD, this album is so FUCKING GOOD. In my opinion, is their best album until today. It just sounds so different and melancholic, nothing like anything they released before this. It's fast when it needs to, It's haunting when it needs to,It's fun when it needs to, don't overstays it welcome for beign a album that is quick and to the point, but with so much substance... and GOD, It hits on the emotional strings HARD. no joke, 10\10 I still love this album after all this time.
