Purplay (퍼플레이) (Purple + Play) is a 4 member girl group from managed by Purplei entertaiment. They have been training for about 4 years and their company describes them as "special group,with amazing choreography where even boys can't do that". Their debut song is "Love and remember". They officially debuted at February 4th where allkpop introduced the members to the public. One day later,a teaser for "Love and Remember (사랑하고 기억하고..)" MV was uploaded into the agency's official channel. However,the teaser was highly critisized as a member of the dance team I.aM.mE noticed that their dance movements were plagiarized with those in the teaser. A day later,Purplay's agency reveals that Purplay members participated in the creation of the choreography for "Love and Remember".On February 7th,the full song was released,impressing the fans,but unfortunately some fans were still hating on Purplay. Not only that,but on February 12th Umi,the leader revealed that Purplei entertaiment's CEO named her Umi after his first love.Umi said that she understood how much he waited from her.She also named the other members "Eple" "Geeyo" and "Seolha".At February 14th Purplay finally reveals the MV for "Love and Remember" which impressed the viewers more and more,gaining more fans.In the same day,Purplay's agency addresses choreography plagiarism issue saying that After hearing netizens point out this matter, we are in the process of taking the appropriate steps to resolve .At February 19th Purplay’s agency admits the choreography is indeed I.aM.mE’s and settles with dance crew to gain permission,explaining that they credited I.aM.mE in their dancing.At February 21st Purplay debuts in the first live show, "M!Countdown",impressing fans with their amazing dancing and singing skills. Since then,they are promoting their song.On March,an official Purplay International Forums was created
