Countdown: 1992–1983 is a compilation album by the English indie band Pulp, released in 1996. The album contains tracks from the band's first three albums It, Freaks and Separations, as well as stand-alone singles and their b-sides from the same period. The album was released to capitalise on Pulp's commercial breakthrough during the mid-1990s, with 1995's Different Class having reached #1 in the UK albums chart and Common People reaching #2 in the singles chart, making the band one of the most successful acts of the Britpop era.
