Biography
Project.R (pronounced Project Dot R) is a Japanese musical ensemble established by Columbia Music Entertainment and Toei Company to perform the soundtrack of the Super Sentai Series, starting with Engine Sentai Go-onger in 2008. They were quietly disbanded (officially) after Lupinranger VS Patranger ended in 2019 with no new music brandishing the Project.R label (sans a new remix of Super Sentai Hero Getter) from Kiramager onward.
While not all of the songs in the series post-2008 have been performed by Project.R members, most of them are still written and/or produced by a Project.R writer/producer (who may or may not also be a performer themselves).
In addition to Super Sentai, they are also responsible for the theme song(s) to Kamen Rider Amazons, which feature guest Taro Kobayashi on vocals.
