Biography
Perhaps the most unstable band in the entire Western Massachusetts music scene, Potential For A Fall, while only existing for three years (as of September 2022), has broken up and gotten back together twice and has been through nearly a dozen members with frontman Jey Recore being the only permanent fixture in the band. The band's sound has also fluctuated quite rapidly and drastically, with their debut album, A Year In Review (2020), calling back to early 2000s pop punk like The Starting Line and New Found Glory. While their sophomore effort, Back To Nowhere (2022), is reminiscent of mall emo acts such as The Used, AFI, and Senses Fail. An elusive untitled third studio album is set for release in December 2022, not much is known about the album, its time frame, or it’s origins at all. Yet another change in sound is apparent in the lead up to their fourth album, Carrier (2023), which is said to be influenced by more modern emo bands like Citizen, Can't Swim, and Title Fight.
