Biography
While back in Berlin german indiepop was put to school by bands like Virginia Jetzt! and Sofaplanet Porous unswervingly would play english coloured guitar pop. Truly, Germany hadn`t heard anything as charming since Subterfuge or Miles. Breezy songs, smelling like summer and beeing in love. Never shallow. Somewhere between euphoria and melancholy. The record didn`t leave my player that summer. I had fallen in love. Their fine sense of catchy melodies and mature songwriting is to be heard on their first album Day My Friend (Firestation Rec./Al!ve) out on April 19th.
Able to become one of the best guitar pop records of the year, Day My Friend already saved my summer…

* 1999 EP "coming down to take off" is released
* 2000 Falling in love with "mikrokultur". First tour accross Germany
* 2001 7" Single "Mosaic" is being released, followed by more touring
* 2002 Touring Germany supporting Chewy
* 2003 Touring Germany and festivals supporting e.g. Libertines, Buffseeds, Bettie Servert
* 2004 Album "Day my Friend" is published on Berlin independent label Firestation-Records Touring Germany and Spain
* 2006 Release of the new album is scheduled to autumn
