Biography
There are two artist under the name Poor Richard:
1. American folk singer from the 70's Poor Richard aka Richard Smyrnios who released Place of the Sun in 1974 and played in a band called Sonora who released a self-titled album in 1982.
2. Dutch punk/rocknroll band Poor Richard from Arnhem.
After a few jam sessions in the summer of 2011, Jac (guitar, vocals) and Ward (drums) decided to start a band together and asked Joost to join on bass. Their music contains elements of punk, grunge, hardcore, rocknroll and stoner rock. It can be described as energetic, to the point, melodic and catchy.
Their first demo 'Kiss you for the ride' has been recorded and will be released soon. It will contain 10 tracks in total, 3 tracks of this demo can already be listened online.
